Ruth Annette Bowen

Ruth was born in Anchorage, Alaska, July 19, 1959. As the child of a military family, she traveled the world and learned to love people from all cultures and walks of life.
She was an honor student and was going to graduate as a Junior a few days after the bus accident. She had been accepted at Brigham Young University at Promo, Utah and was planning to room with her sister who was a Junior there. She loved animals, people, and singing with Chante, her singing group.
She loved cheerleading at Robert E. Peary High School, in Rockville, Maryland before moving to Yuba City in 1975. She was a joy to have as a daughter and we still miss her terribly.
